The kitchen of a vegan or vegetarian can not quite look like yours. However, it may not always offer the best quality, nutritious food. Take a moment and enter the kitchen of a non-meat eater. In the closet: In the closet of a vegetarian, you will find most of what you do in the office of a meat eater. Canned foods, condiments, rice, oats, cereals, and more fill the shelves in most cabinets. The difference comes when you get a little closer to the labels. Most labels will probably say "organic", "vegetarian", "vegan," "whole grain, gluten-free" or something healthy. When a vegetarian or vegan stores, they search for items that have no meat by-products, eggs (some vegetarians buy products that contain egg whites). In most closets, you will also find a lot of canned or dried beans. Beans as a meat substitute for vegetarians because it is many a super saource protein, especially the meat. I always beans in my cupboard. Nutritional Yeast is also something that you find on a shelf. It is so versatile in its uses and nutritional value is fantastic. This yeast is a high source of vitamin B complex and is the most comprehensive source of iron, you can have in your kitchen. It will also include oils such as olive, grapeseed and coconut in the closets of most refrigerators vegetarians. In RefrigeratorMost carry items such as vegetables, fruit, dressing leftovers, frozen food and more. Well once again it's no different for vegetarians, just that some elements most likely to have different content. Vegetables and fruits are the norm in most refrigerators everywhere. However, most vegetarians eat "organic" and spend a little more for the items. You will find that the ratio of fresh vegetables to those frozen foods is generally higher. You'll also be more likely to find more variety of fruits and vegetables, like most vegans and vegetarians are more daring, but when it comes to trying a new type of produce. In our refrigerator, we have too much butter . However, we use "Soy Garden" which is a vegetarian alternative without trans fat. It tastes like butter … no kidding. We also have items such as soy milk, tofu, soy dogs, linkettes (a substitute for sausage) and homemade mayonnaise. You will not see a lot of meat or frozen foods (except vegetables) because we did not buy much frozen food. I do most of our meals from scratch. Two elements that I love our freezer is Tunø and "temptations" of vegan ice cream. Tuno is a substitute that I use in tuna salad and seafood salad, macaroni. I am not very fond of canned Tuno. He had a bad taste to me. For those of you who are lactose intolerant "Temptations" is great. It is great … Believe me, I'm a fan of ice cream. They have flavors such as "cobbler fishing," chocolate chip mint, "" vanilla "," green tea "and more. Well, there you have it. Of course, this is not an exhaustive list, but it gives you an idea. I have included some sites that give you more information on some of the items mentioned in this article.
